Scott Badger, Founder & President

ScottPicture

As the company’s founder and president, Scott Badger brings a wealth of experience in financial management, technology implementation, strategic planning, profitability analysis, operations management and process improvement. He is often brought in by C-level executives to help launch new company divisions, brands and consumer products.

Previously, he served as the chief executive of Advanced Metabolics, a product marketing company specializing in the health and wellness category. There, he recruited capital, restructured operations, launched new products and turned this closely held, private company, into a profitable, multi-million dollar business.

Scott also served as a senior consultant at Ernst & Young (now Cap Gemini). There he advised Fortune 500 clients and emerging e-businesses including American Express, Allstate, Credit Suisse First Boston (formerly DLJ), Marriott International, and TXU Communications, to name a few.

Scott is a skilled dealmaker who enjoys helping companies grow by finding profitable new markets and sales channels. He worked on the strategic team charged with implementing an $80M initiative to launch a new consumer credit card and shopping portal for American Express. From building a business case, to designing the technology platform, to evaluating potential vendors and partners including Inktomi (now Yahoo!) and Infospace, the team successfully launched this major shopping portal (ShopAmex.com).

Scott received his MBA from Marymount University and BS degree from University of Maine. Scott likes to work hard and play hard. This fitness enthusiast can often be found playing with his two young sons, or running, swimming and exploring the outdoors. He is training for his first triathlon and hopes that his love of craft beer doesn’t impede his progress.
